HOW TO DESIGN A POSTER
A printed poster often has different purposes but in case you are wanting to advertise a product with your poster, here are a few tips.
BIG NUMBER THEORY
Think of when you are in a supermarket. You walk down the aisle and see the prices displayed on a small tag next to the item but once you get to the end of the aisle, you see a huge 99c advertising that your favourite chocolate chip cookies are on special. We’ve been conditioned by retailers that big prices, mean good value so if you’re advertising a product and price penetration is an important part of your strategy, then consider displaying your price as the largest text on the page.
Think about how your poster will be placed, who will read it, will they stop and read it properly or do you need to capture their interest with a large punchy headline?
